The Government Planning Portal contains useful information about Residential Building Projects. It also has an “Interactive House”, which shows in 3D pictorial format, the most common residential building projects and the allowances considered to be Permitted Development.

Building Services
Studious is run by Mr. Stuart Brown, who is an Independent Approved Building Control Inspector covering the South East of England. He provides a full service of all aspects of Building Control, as well as specialist advise on SAP Heat Loss Calculations. This is a useful alternative to the Local Council Building Control Service, and can often result in reduced fees.

Sylvan Joinery are a specialist joinery company, based in Aylesford, Kent. They provide a high class service producing internal and external timber products. They have produced doors, windows and staircases for many of our projects.
